I have been doing research on different active learning strategies. So far the attached document "Interactive Techniques" written by Keven Yee from the University of South Florida has the most thorough list of active learning ideas. There are a total of 280 ideas. Not all technique will have universal appeal or are applicable to the online environment. My plan for the next few weeks is to create my own list for active learning. My goal is to have a list of ideas that are suitable for Regis online learning environment. This is going to be a living document. Ideas will be added to or modified from the document. As I implement some of these ideas to our courses, I will post examples and reflections.
